I started this business mostly because of the need to combine both beauty and psychology in the rebuilding of “self.” Too many psychologists believe that working solely on the inner self is the core of one’s recovery from self-doubt and limitation. Studies suggest however, that there is a direct correlation with looking good and feeling good. Society judges us first on our appearance and decisions are based on how we look. This practice, though discriminatory, is factual and may indeed dictate how well we flourish in our community and environment. People have been passed up for jobs, promotions, dates, friendships, and other opportunities, based on the way they looked. It is up to each individual to learn skills that will improve and enhance their lives. I have made these skills easy to learn, simple to use, and the results are fast. |

Bev's Book Review
The Ultimate Weight Solution by: Dr. Phil McGraw
This book was published in 2003, so I am sure most of you have already read it or at least heard about it. I came across my brand new, hard cover copy at a dollar store last week. Yes, Bev Knox shops at a dollar store. In fact, this particular store is one of my favorite stores. If you are smart, you will find one in your area. I paid $1 for this book which originally cost $26. I must say, this is the best $1 I have ever spent. I love it. I am already half way through, and can't put it down. It's a must read!
